Recipe: Honey Garlic Glazed Pork Chops

Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick

  • 1/4 cup honey

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper to create the honey garlic glaze.

  2. Place the pork chops in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour half of the honey garlic glaze over the pork chops, reserving the remaining glaze for later. Ensure that the pork chops are evenly coated in the glaze. Marinate the pork chops in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.

  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Remove the pork chops from the marinade and discard any excess marinade.

  4. Place the pork chops on the preheated grill or grill pan and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C) for medium-rare, or 160°F (71°C) for medium, on an instant-read thermometer.

  5. During the last few minutes of cooking, brush the pork chops with the reserved honey garlic glaze, flipping them once to ensure that both sides are evenly coated.

  6. Once the pork chops are cooked to your desired doneness and the glaze is caramelized and sticky, remove them from the grill or grill pan and transfer them to a serving platter.

  7. Garnish the honey garlic glazed pork chops with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and flavor.

  8. Serve the pork chops hot off the grill, alongside your favorite side dishes, and enjoy the deliciousness!
